IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN COMING ON THE TRADITIONAL TERRITORY TOUR SIGN-UP AT THE BAND OFFICE!

ONLY 20 SEATS AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TOUR ON JULY 18, 2011!

To Quatsino Band Members,

I would like to invite you to join me on a traditional territory Tour of Quatsino Sound.
Come on out and learn your history, where you come from, and how you are connected to our traditional lands. Learn about your ancestors and where our traditional trapping and fishing lines are.
Learn about how our people occupied different parts of our territory for different purposes. Learn why we had winter villages and summer villages.

Come on out and enjoy a wonderful journey back to our roots.

Our youth and young people should learn what our connections are to the land and pass the knowledge down to their grandchildren.

Take this opportunity to come out and find out who you are and where you come from.

Let us keep our history alive for our future generations!

Gilakasla,

Chief Tom Nelson
