Would you like a summer job visiting the most remote parts of the north Island territory, camping out on spectacular beaches and putting in some hard work to steward them? Plastic marine debris is washing up on every tide and if we don’t clean it up, it will end up harming wildlife.
Quatsino First Nation is working with Living Oceans Society on a project to Clear the Coast of harmful plastics and other debris. We are looking to recruit a team of up to 18 men and women aged 15 to 29.
The project is expected to run from June 14 through the end of August, with some opportunities for part-time work in September.
Deadline to apply is: June 4, 2021
Please see the Living Oceans Job Posting for full details about this position, or to apply.
