The Lands Department is responsible for overseeing our traditional territory, including forests, waters, culturally significant sites and our community. We work closely with government and industry to ensure the responsible stewardship of our traditional heritage.

Our Land Use Plan was developed with extensive community input. It’s purpose is to act as a guiding document as Quatsino First Nation moves forward with the development of our community, as well as the protection of our traditional territory. Our goal is to work in collaboration and good faith with industry, government and private businesses, maintaining a shared set of goals and values.

Community Feedback

We rely upon feedback from the community to develop our current and future projects in a way that is meaningful to all of us.

Please provide your comments, questions and concerns on any of our projects.
