North Island College in Port Hardy is now accepting applications for the Woodland Harvesting Certificate Program. This is a full-time, 6 1/2 month program, running from Feb.27th to Aug. 31st. It is limited to 14 seats, available on a first come first serve basis, so get your applications in now.

This is an Employment Skills Access (ESA) Program designed to assist unemployed, or low skilled individuals to obtain employment. All tuition and materials are paid for participants meeting eligibility criteria.

The Woodland Harvesting Certificate Program is designed for individuals with limited experience, who have a desire to work in the field and gain the fundamental skills to pursue entry level positions in forestry - harvesting, resource management, forestry road construction, forest protection, etc. The program includes classroom and practical training as well as employment readiness and work experience.
