25th April 2012
Colleen (Nelson) George
Our Traditional Territory and how our ancestors looked after and honored our lands & resources will speak to how we presently should be looking after our territory and how our children in the future will continue on caring for our traditional lands and the resources within our traditional territory.
What do we want for our future generations, for our children and grandchildren in the years to come?
We as Gusígiímukw people have to come together and listen and share stories of our traditional ways of being and exisiting in our territory. It is important that our Nation understands and honors where we came from in order to make sense of where we are presently and to plan the most prosperous future for our children to come.
Please join us for lunch and come share your stories, or come and listen to your peoples history.

When: April 26, 2012
Where: Quattishe Hall
Time: 11am-2pm

Everyone Welcome!
